Catapult - Counting Crows cover

The other night at work I was singing this song in this slow tempo but I couldn't think of some of the words so I checked youtube for a performance and found this. She is incredible. I love this song.

the wisdom of Josslyn

This video makes me laugh every time I watch it. She's too sweet! It was around Valentine's Day, obviously!

update

I spoke to my Uncle last night and he said that she was doing well but was still in ICU.

I spoke with my Uncle about 20 minutes ago... he said that she was doing well this morning but as of now is in extreme pain. Her lupus doctor said her blood results look good and will keep checking on her when they draw blood every day. They have her on some pain meds, so hopefully she'll be comfortable enough to rest soon.

Thanks for the good vibes and prayers.

My Aunt went in for hip replacement surgery (hip deterioration caused by the prednizone that she takes for lupus flare ups... it causes osteoporosis) this morning. I haven't heard anything yet, but I've been sick about it for a few days. I'm worried... and nervous... and I've been talking to my Mom, Aunt, and Nana all night long trying to convince them that if it is her time to go they have to change that because I can not lose her. She seems to be in good hands. She flew home to New Hampshire to have the surgery at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Her lupus doctor will be there with her the whole time checking her blood levels and they will be closely monitoring for blood clots (one killed my Aunt Linda after her surgery to remove a giant blood clot in her stomach- complications from her lupus and vasculitis). So... I'll continue to pray and worry and wait for a phonecall telling me she's doing great. Send your prayers please.

HOORAY!!!!

y'all know that my wedding ring had a mishap this summer when one of the diamonds fell out. Well, the jewelry store we bought it from filed chapter 11 and closed all it's stores. We went to several jewelry stores to see if they could fix it, they all said that it would be in the neighborhood of $500 to fix and that it wouldn't be guaranteed to stay together because it's an invisible setting. *pout* We decided to check at one of the jewelry stores for a replacement band in that price range. Luckily, there are tons of sales going on right now. While I was in love with a 1/2 carat tiny/dainty band my husband found a 1 carat band marked on clearance from $1200 down to $450!!! So, Mama got a new ring!!!! I am so excited, and holy crap is it shiny!!! I am definitely distracted by shiny objects last night and today. (I feel like Dory in Finding Nemo!)

Also, I am going to make this blog private. I don't really know how yet even though Stephanie gives me good instructions, but it has something to do with emails. So, if you read this blog and want to continue reading this blog send me your email... I think my email address is listed on my profile page.

ps- please ignore the knuckle hair!!!

well, I think this blog is over. It's been compromised. And until I can find a safe alternative where I can lock my blog without say, my sister in law reading it... well, then it's done. It's been a good ride, but I just can't write in here freely anymore- which is what it's purpose was to begin with. I've been a little out of sorts lately, and I sure could have used a place to express myself- looks like I'll go back to paper and ink. thanks for reading.
